Whit Mallory Memorial Golf Tournament

The Whit Mallory FCIDD Classic golf tournament was established by the Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (FCIDD) to honor long time Foundation Treasurer, Whit Mallory. This year’s tournament, the ninth annual, will be held Friday October 6, 2023, at Clifton Park Golf Course, 2701 St. Lo Drive, Baltimore, MD. The 18-hole tournament will be a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. open to a field of 120 golfers.

Funds raised are invested to assist in the building of new Civitan Clubs, and to further research at the Civitan International Research Center, two of Whit’s biggest motivators and what drove him to raise funds to help those who could not help themselves.

As the Foundation celebrates 75 years of operation, we are excited to hold our first 18-holegolf tournament in Baltimore, where Tom McNulty and his son, and so many others, were the impetus behind a more humane, inclusive way to raise and support children and families dealing with a diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability.

A fun day is planned for October 6th, including gaming holes, a 50/50 raffle, and most importantly warm camaraderie and good golf. As it is the beginning of the Columbus Day weekend, we invite you to stay in a room at the Hotel Ulysses and enjoy the delights that are Baltimore’s historic and modern-day opportunities.
