Al Harmon, from Ohio, began his position of Director at Large in FY25, when he said yes to serving on the Executive Committee. He grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Dayton Civitan Club. Al is ready to share the ease with which it is to apply and be funded for club and program grants with the rest of his Ohio Participating Civitan clubs! We are grateful that Al accepted the invitation to serve so we have representation in Ohio!

Meet Matt Johnson, a member of the Chester, Virginia Civitan Club. Matt grew up in Pearland, Texas, and also joined the Executive Committee in FY25 as one of our three Directors at Large. Matt has been involved with Camp Baker, a grant beneficiary of FCIDD, for many years as a volunteer.

His thoughts on serving and the organization?

"Seeing the great ideas that are proposed by regional organizations come to life is a best part of the experience. We have no idea of how many lives we touch. It's a great opportunity to work alongside inspiring volunteers, plus Bill and Breezy and being a part of these incredible projects grants funded by FCIDD."
