FCIDD Presents at Civitan International Convention in Louisville, Kentucky!

The Foundation was well-represented at the recent Civitan International Convention held in Louisville, Kentucky. Board members and staff enjoyed time together and putting actual "in real life" faces to names!
FCIDD is the premier sponsor of the Walk and Roll event which is a fundraiser for the Civitan International Research Center, and raised over $60,000 this year. Congratulations to our own Lynn Leitch on being the highest fundraiser for this event with $3500.+ raised on behalf of her team.
Executive Director Bill Garrett spoke at the Philanthropy Session and shared news about the increase in submissions and awards for IDD nonprofits in our 15 state geographic area. He also shared that Participating Civitan clubs are having good success attracting new members from some of their local FCIDD-sponsored grants of new member and $2000 club grants.
FCIDD provides almost $450,000 annually to Civitan International to match Civitans at the Helm, match Junior Civitan fundraising, support for the Breakthru Golf tournament and funding the McNulty Scientist annually for CIRC,
