Access Virginia hosted its Arts for All event in February, featuring live art theatre for a diverse audience. Access Virginia is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was created to provide open captioning and audio description at live theatrical performances so that Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Blind, Visually Impaired persons can attend performances and experience the wonder of live entertainment at public facilities. The Peninsula club supported Access Virginia with their $2000 request to FCIDD.

The Shiremanstown Historical Society is enhancing its grounds to include a handicapped-accessible walking path and a disabled-inclusive playground, with the Capital Region supporting the project with their $2000 Participating Club grant.
