The FCIDD Participating Clubs and College Scholarships for Students: since 2022, the Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Development Disabilities has provided educational scholarships for students. In partnership with participating clubs, students are sponsored locally and the FCIDD Scholarship Committee reviews and recommends for approval the highest number of students as possible annually. The Foundation is grateful to be able to assist these students in achieving their dreams, and continuing the vision of Tom and Mary McNulty, who were at the forefront of building schools and educating teachers for the IDD community.

This year's deadlines are February 15, 2026 for the student to submit an application to the sponsoring participating Civitan club, and February 28, 2026 for the Scholarship Committee to receive said application in duplicate. Further information, the application and instructions are available here.
We happily recognize the increase in applications over the last three years: 2023 saw 3 scholarships for $10,500 in total; in 2024 we awarded 7 scholarships for $18,500 and in 2025 awarded 9 scholarships for a total of $21,000. Below are the 2025 recipients, congratulations and the very best to you as you continue your education!
