A new avenue of grant funding opened this fiscal year, called Participating Club grants. Specifically designed with both nonprofit need and local Civitan club desire in mind, these grants are provided annually to clubs who participate in the FCIDD as board and/or committee members. The grantee must be a 501(c)(3) organization and complete the online application to receive $2000 in unrestricted monies to address immediate needs. We are excited to share a few of the grantee beneficiaries and hope to see more clubs submit their grants in August! A reminder that the current fiscal year ends on 9/30/25, at which time any participating clubs who have not yet submitted a grant lose the opportunity for FY25. Get your submission in today!

Battle Monument School supported by the Baltimore Civitan Club

Battle Monument School aims to enhance each child's quality of life by fostering an enriching learning environment. Our diverse team collaborates with families and resources to provide engaging learning experiences that develop each child. By applying best practices, we integrate communication, functional life skills, and independence into academic programs to maximize student potential now and in the future. The funds from this grant will be used to purchase items for their sensory and Occupational Therapy areas: a special rocking chair and a roller for autistic students. The Baltimore club is thrilled to be able to assist with the help of the Foundation.
