National All Is Ours Day, celebrated annually on April 8th, is a day dedicated to appreciating the beauty of nature, practicing gratitude for what you have, and sharing with others. It encourages people to step outside, explore local parks, count their blessings, and foster a sense of community. This day serves as a reminder that when we share our resources, knowledge, and support, we can create a stronger and more resilient community. It highlights the value of collaboration in addressing societal challenges and fostering a sense of belonging.

How to Celebrate National All Is Ours Day

  • Reflect on Nature: Spend time outdoors, such as visiting a local park or trail, to appreciate the environment.

  • Appreciate Your Life: Focus on what you have rather than what you lack, and count your blessings.

  • Share with Others: Share your time, resources, or a meal to make tough times easier and build community.

The day is a reminder that the world and its beauty belong to all of us, encouraging a positive, shared, and grateful mindset.

Why We Love the Concept

"Making Possibilities Happen" is only a tag-line until the FCIDD community collaborates with IDD nonprofits and programs to ensure it happens. Then it becomes a story of building stronger and more resilient communities filled human beings able to thrive at their best level and feel proud of their efforts.
