When it comes to organizations with "drive", one that quickly come to mind is Occupational Services, Inc. (OSI) and their mission to assist individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment to lead more productive and meaningful lives by maximizing their abilities to achieve their highest potential through vocational programs and employment services.

Thanks to the grants of $27,988.00 from FCIDD and $500.00 from the Chambersburg Area Civitan Club, OSI was able to purchase a 2024 Chevy Equinox. This has benefited approximately 30 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in participating in the community through paid work experience or volunteer opportunities. The Equinox allowed OSI to replace a 2007 Dodge Caravan that was beyond its useable lifespan for the agency in providing safe and reliable transportation for the individuals we serve.
The Foundation is proud of its long-time association with OSI, Inc, and is proud of the fact that OSI was founded in 1957 by members of the then Chambersburg Area Civitan Club!
