The 9th Annual FCIDD Whit Mallory Classic Golf Tournament was a success!

The ninth annual FCIDD Whit Mallory Classic Golf Tournament is one for the books, and a great time was had by ALL! This year’s tournament was chaired by Joe O’Toole, who was helped by a hard-working committee that included Charlie and Patti Jackowski, Mirza Donegan, Sly Bieler, Patricia Koepsel, and Lynn Leitch. We moved from a nine-hole tournament to 18 holes, and, given the FCIDD 75th anniversary year (2023), moved the tournament to Baltimore, Maryland, the birthplace of FCIDD thanks to the McNulty Family. “Whit” poured his passion into his life’s work with Civitan and the Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Working tirelessly as a volunteer from 1968 to 2013 for the benefit of mentally and physically challenged children, he received numerous awards for his service.

Whit was a leader in obtaining donations for the Civitan International Research Center and was the top fundraiser for the annual Civitan International Golf Tournament repeatedly. The Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is honored to have been a beneficiary of his time, efforts, and knowledge and we honor Whit’s hard work and memory through this annual tournament.
