UpCounty Community Resources and the Greater Silver Spring Civitan Club
Located in Germantown, Maryland, UpCounty Community Resources believes we are enriched by all persons in our community. They promote the full inclusion of persons with developmental and intellectual differences into every aspect of community life.
Innovative programming helps to empower IDD adults (18+) to learn and socialize. They provide field trips, dances, a coffee club and a book club, therapeutic music and art programs, visual arts programs, weekend respites and job training programs.
The Greater Silver Spring Civitan Club is proud to be a supporter of UpCounty Community Resources and FCIDD is pleased to facilitate the grant.
