Nonprofit Funding Opportunities for 2026!

  • 1 min read

In the 2026 calendar year, there are three chances to apply for project grants: March 1, July 1, and October 1.

Grant submissions in March and October require sponsorship with a local Civitan club. The project grant submission on July 1, 2026, is intended for nonprofits that wish to fund a project but do not have access to a geographically available Civitan club for partnership, in addition to those from local clubs. Grant submissions are categorized as follows, with the primary criterion being support for I/DD: Accessibility & Engagement; Educational Spaces; Program Area Improvements, and Outreach & Education

There is in-depth information on our website where our new and improved Submittable (formerly WizeHive) grant portal can be accessed for both Nonprofit Project grants and Civitan Participating Club grants (on the Civitan Club Grants page).

This past year, the FCIDD allocated more than $330,000 in project grant funds to 16 nonprofit organizations. This year, the budget for program grants is set at $750,000, so we're looking forward to working with you to hit this target and enhance your I/DD programs and projects!
