From Team Kindness at the Kindness Cafe, Charlottesville, Virginia
The FCIDD granted Katie Kishore and her nonprofit team at Kindness Cafe a grant for the equipment to open a new (second) location in a local and they are THRIVING!
Katie says, “we have another exciting update. We've hired six new staff members and will be hiring three more in the next month or so. The new team members really enjoyed our staff meeting as well as their first few training sessions. The space is beautiful and ALMOST ready to go. :)
We'll have a soft opening the week of Dec 2nd. Then we'll be open to the public on Dec 9th!”
