In Appreciation of our Volunteers

This week sees the Foundation's volunteer board in full activity. The Board of Directors meets for the second time in this fiscal year, while the Executive Committee meets for its sixth time.


Our Executive Committee is led by Marisa Tokarsky, and supported by Mirza Donegan, Lynn Leitch, Al Harmon, Patricia Jackowski, Matthew Johnson, Charlie Jackowski, Sly Bieler, Jo Ann O'Toole, John Hendery and Carmen Gorby.


The Board of Directors is made up of the Executive Committee members; past Presidents of the Foundation: Linda Hadley, Sue Hepworth, Joe O'Toole, Doug Potter, David Shirk and Fon Smith; and a representative each of the 19 FCIDD Participating Clubs: Pattie SanAntonio, Leandra Finder, Stephanie Bigwood, Danielle Gattine, Nate Geyer, Larry Grimes, Linda Powell, Jenny Rogers, Heller An Shapiro, Denise Phelps, Paula Bloom, Jim Carter, Kendra Wormley, Becky Camden, Patricia Kurtz, Diana Ladd, and Pam Hartschuh. Our gratitude for and recognition

of their commitment to the FCIDD.


These meetings will result in making decisions that affect the responsible operations of the FCIDD, and make final determinations for hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to be paid out this month.


Our volunteers recognize the importance of collaborating to achieve a broader community goal of ensuring the best possible lives for individuals with IDD. They have a personal connection to the Foundation's mission, as they are affected as family, employees, and individuals who have made "Making Possibilities Happen" a priority action item for organizations and individuals with IDD.
