Going Orange for GOOD!
Every March, communities across the United States come together to recognize, celebrate, and advocate for the more than 7 million Americans living with developmental disabilities. It’s an opportunity to honor the diverse talents, dreams, and achievements of people with developmental disabilities while shining a light on the barriers they continue to face in education, employment, housing and daily life. Whether it’s autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or learning disorders, these disabilities are part of the human experience, and the people living with them have stories that need to be heard.
Orange represents: energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and warmth. It's a color that stands out, demands to be noticed, and refuses to be overlooked — much like the community it represents, and we serve.

Wearing orange is a simple but visible act of solidarity — a signal to the world that you see, value, and stand with this community. This March, go orange. More than that, go further: listen, learn, advocate, and include. Awareness only becomes meaningful when it leads to action. By raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, we can create a society that values and uplifts every member.
